GameFi Crossing (XYA) is an HRC-20 token on the Harmony network. A community-first token that revolves around a digital world, focussing towards an auto chess-like battler while creating a vivid story and healthy ecosystem.

The token is built to drive everything in the GameFi Crossing ecosystem, having an auto chess game (tentative name: “CryptIds”) involving “Harmons” as its top priority. While we work on the auto chess game, we are trying to create a healthy ecosystem surrounding the game with a living world. This world is the entry to the Xangaea story, it consists of the art, lore and locations the game will play in - and speak of.

CryptIds is the tentative name for the game surrounding “Harmons”. The Xangaea world takes place in a walled city. Behind these walls, Harmons roam the world - As human nature is, the Freyfolk wants to catch, breed and fight with these monsters. The richest and most powerful of the Freyfolk have captured most of these Harmons and have them up for sale in the marketplace. When the Harmons black market opens, you will be able to buy them in packs - as obscure as these people are, you will only be able to see how strong these Harmons really are after you have bought them. Upon buying these Harmons they will be minted on the blockchain and their attributes will be known to the public, defining their speed - strength - health and thus rarity.

After buying these Harmons you will be able to battle your fellow Freyfolk with said Harmons. That’s where CryptIds comes into play. Cryptids is an auto chess-like battler where you strategically place your Harmons based on the attributes of your minted NFT’s. These NFT are proof of ownership for the game to be able to claim your Harmons and play with them. After strategically placing your Harmons they will battle it out for your fame. Whether it’s a friendly play, a tournament or an underground wagered game - they will do as you command.

There’s multiple ways you can get XYA, but the most XYA is gained by staking and mining. The first way is simple, buying it! There’s liquidity on four different DEX:

Viperswap
Mochiswap
Defi Kingdoms
Lootswap

Viperswap currently has the most liquidity, but the best way would be to buy XYA in batches to get the most amount of XYA for your swap.
The other way is staking your XYA for more XYA. There’s currently a mine open over at TokenJenny.one and there’s liquidity pools available in Defi Kingdoms, Viperswap, Arbiter guild and Lootswap!

Liquidity pools and mines are a way to delegate your LP (tokens you receive for providing liquidity). Because providing liquidity opens up impermanent loss if price changes, you get tokens in return as reward to cover for those losses. For lootswap and arbiter guild you will have to provide liquidity in Lootswap and for viperswap and tokenjenny you will have to provide liquidity in Viperswap.

Absolutely you can! There are two methods of doing so:

APP - Connect your wallet on https://xangaea.com/ and go to the 'Extraction Site'. There you can stake and claim your rewards, whilst also viewing your wallet balance on the app.

WEBSITE - Go to https://xangaea.com/#/staking and connect your MetaMask. You can then stake all, unstake or claim your XYA.

Yearly returns of staking are approximately 20 - 22%, depending on compounding.

The most common reason is because you haven't added the token's contract address: 0x9b68BF4bF89c115c721105eaf6BD5164aFcc51E4

Another thing to check is if you are connected to the Harmony Mainnet RPC.

What is the total supply and token distribution of XYA?
The total supply of XYA will always fluctuate due to burns. As of August 2021, the total supply is at roughly 246M tokens:

150M - In-game rewards
52M - Upcoming partnerships, farming and casino
21M - Community projects, events, hackathons and bounties
11M - Sales
4.5M - Development fund
4M - Miscellaneous
2.5M - Seed fund investors (span over a year)
1M - Faucet fund

Type /help. You will then receive a list of more commands and what they do. This will be in the form of a pop-up private to you.

One important thing to note is to make sure you have ONE in your Discord wallet (even a negligible amount is fine), since XYA uses ONE as gas for transactions on the Harmony blockchain. To deposit ONE, just send it to the wallet address. You can also use /get-gas but your number of uses will be limited, and it will only work if you have less than .01 One in your wallet

GameFi Crossing is the concept of gameplay in and around the world of Xangaea...think of GameFi Crossing (GFX) as the energy, and Xangaea as the land, or tangible location.

Harmons are the monsters roaming the world of Xangaea...we know that they are here, but they are still in hiding, known only to a few…after buying the Harmons from the black market you will be able to do various things with your Harmons. You can, of course, treasure them - get more friends and collect them all, you can let them live peacefully in your own plot of land in the world of Xangaea, you can make them stronger - evolve them by combining them with fellow Harmons, or you can battle with them on the battlegrounds specifically created for Harmons fights!

As time goes by, more Harmons will be found roaming around - in due time you will also be able to catch these Harmons yourself, rather than buying them from the riches - or your fellow players. The attributes will be made clear when you have caught your Harmon.

XYA
The initial and most important token of the Xangaea world is the magical ore called “XYA”. XYA is the token that drives the entire ecosystem, without XYA our world becomes useless. XYA is what is used to store and generate your currency, your ability and is used to upgrade your Harmons. Because XYA is so magical, it not only has great power - but also great value. People want to use XYA for both good and bad, but also want to use it as leverage for wagers.

YET-TO-ANNOUNCE CURRENCY
There is one more token coming up, this is the currency of GameFi Crossing. You will be able to store and generate this currency by staking XYA-ONE LP. This token will be used to buy and sell anything in the marketplace. From plots of land to Harmons. The only way to get this currency is by either trading it with other users, or generating it through staking. This currency is also the only currency that will be needed to be able to play the game - making the game a “Stake to play” system.

COINKx
COINKx is the currency used for Cryptopigs. It will be used for various things, including using it as a wager in the PvP part of the game, and using it to revive your pig after it has died, or enabling you to play with it, clean it, for letting your pig eat and rest in the tamagotchi part of the game.
